MMI-High - Retrofit
This kit allows you to upgrade from MMI Basic or MMI Basic Plus to MMI High with color dIsplay. First of all you need to find out if your car is equipped with MMI Basic or MMI Basic Plus.
You can find this easily out by checking if the car has rear loudspeakers. If not, you need to choose the DSP-Amplifier option.
This kit contains the following minimum hardware:
- Color-Display as well as the new faceplate
- Headunit (displa controller)
- Radiobox
- Complete Wiring
Furthermore you got the following extra options:
- CD-Changer
- DVD Navigation
- TV Tuner
- Speed Dialog System (in this case you need the multifunctional steering wheel)
- DSP-Amplifier
- DAB
Notes:
- If the NAV and TEL buttons of the MMI controlpanel are missing you'll also need to choose the panel-option.
- You may need more parts (holder for sat nav unit etc.) for upgrading to MMI Hi.
